Proposed new spell: group blast heal

Currently proposed and up for voting is a group HoT spell. I'd rather avoid the "You already have an AA group HoT and an Epic group HoT!" arguement. We'd prolly be better off pushing for a group blast heal somewhere between what pallys and clerics already get.

Pally: 1316 hp
Cleric: 3427 hp + remove poison/disease/curse counters.
Shaman (proposed): 2100 hp + remove detrimental

Tempest of Health (?)
Increase Hitpoints by 2100, Group v1
Remove Detrimental (6)
Mana: 1320
Cast Time: 3
Recast: 2.25

This would give us a new tool instead of another version of a current one and, even better, it won't take up a buff slot like another HoT would.

If they do give shamans this, druids will ask for it. But also pallys woiuld probably complain that that is a special thing that keeps them wantd for more than just buffing. Group healing is helped a ton by pallys. I would be saying soemting neer to pallys, like 1kish group heal. Yes it is pretty low, but asking for something better than the class that originally had it is just stupid. It would be the same thing as bst asking for a AE slow that is 70% instead of Tigirs 50%, just not gonna happen and shouldnt. A group blast heal would definetly help out but anything more than a pally would not happen, and should not IMO.

Any form of group heal would be great for me, whether HoT, rain or direct.

And I agree with veeshan on not using the old "we had it first" argument, including the debates for an improved BihLi. Back in the day, class balance and idiosycrasies were real issues. Modern EQ is MUCH nearer a healthy mixture of classes, with each offering its own blend of utilities and roles.

While I would welcome any improvement to our class, I feel shaman are a very, very well-rounded class. Our ability to heal is very viable, our DPS is more than decent, our utility is undeniable, and our mana regen is superb. If we had snare and a defensive disc, we'd about have it all....

i was visioning a Target AE spell that you can target the mob, and heal everyone around it 2-3 ticks of like 900 HP (maybe more, 1800 hps is nothing to AE ramp mobs)..mana cost would be high of course...but it could potentialls heal alot of folks. Stacking should probably be restricted.

sorry, I was thinking of MGB being a range-increase of the heal...thinking a little too outside of the box at some points.

with such a heal, most foci wouldn't work with it. (like nuke rains). just alot of mechanics to work out on something like this, considering they would need to either write new code for it, or modify existing code of rain nukes to make it work.
