We were playing a fun game in guild chat earlier.
A plural number of a certain thing often has a special name, called a collective: bunch of grapes, flock of geese, school of fish.
So we were working on the name for a group of people, all the same EQ class. After I posted here, we got some more suggestions, which I have edited in on the list below, but we are still looking for a few, plus better answers that people come up with.
So far we have:
a crescendo of bards [a medley of bards? a chorus of bards?]
a kennel of beastlords
a frenzy of berserkers [an asylum of berserkers?]
a cloister of clerics
a grove of druids
an illusion of enchanters
a storm of mages
a dojo of monks [a shaolin of monks? a grave of monks?]
a mausoleum of necromancers [a cadaver of necromancers?]
a crusade of paladins
a quiver of rangers
a den of rogues
a villainy of shadowknights
a cannibalization of shamans [an antithesis of shamans?]
a phalanx of warriors
a detonation of wizards
So. What improved or new collective names can you offer?
edit: added in some more of the suggestions people have made that I liked the most.
