I use the level 70 heal and burst, and don't regret it, never run oom and haven't gotten any deaths.
35 mana regen is huge for us, plus having a clicky up you some more

Then we will forever disagree in this case than Abazz. My way works for me, your's for you. I've had no issues keeping my groups alive over long duration fights with WoP/Tr, but I have ran into issues chaining WoF/P.
Yes, the healing amount does matter because over healing is useless. The bonus to my style is I no longer have to worry about either of my group heals fizzling, which also saves a considerable amount of mana.
