Buried Sea spells

Right, those spells that appeared on Lucy a while back are basically what we're getting in Buried Sea.

So, here goes:

L71:
STA buff - 50 over cap, an extra 20 HPs or so for us. The big change is the addition of an endurance pool boost, 480/500/520 depending on rank.

L72:
Summons a 5-charge nodrop clicky with the effect above (blocks the next corruption resist spell from landing on your group)

L73:
Reverse splurt poison DoT.
No change from the version above.

L74:
Group HoT.
No change from the version above.

L75:
Sloth upgrade with a (30%/40%/50%) chance to proc a mini HoT if it lands (which it won't if the mob is slowed with pretty much anything else). The HoT is , albeit modified to be a heal v2, which allows crits.

Don't forget the sting nerf too, didnt see it mentioned anywhere else on the site.

Just consider Sloth as what it really is, an aggro multiplier for tanks, not a slow.

Personally ill be thrilled to see the upgrade if its a vendor sold spell, since I still dont have Sloth.

I had heard they are not Rk. X spells, but I'd be thrilled if they were purchasable.

Considering there is yet another point system going in with this expansion, I'm going to guess they will be DoN-style acquisition where you farm out instances (ad nauseum) for points to buy some spells, while others will be arc rewards.

Wiska was also changed to a summoned item (self only) and the recast is on the item not the spell.
However the item cast wasnt /tgb able last I saw. Hoping that will be fixed yet.

I don't suppose that it has occurred to SoE to permit a refund of all the AA I spent making Sting a viable DD spell? /sigh

An expansion designed for hard-core raiders from what I see, no AA worth getting, and they nerf the ONE spell I had that was worth anything for dmg. This is really getting old.

As a casual Paladin main with an even casual-er (is that a word) shaman bot, this will cause me to use Sting quite a bit less.

Its funny when folks hear how a spell can be really leveraged, and complain to get it nerfed, that the folks the nerf hurts probably weren't the ones leveraging it in the first place.

Brohg, its pretty obvious that the upgrade to Yoppa's Spear of Venom is Ahnkaul's Spear of Venom, both from the name and from the cookie cutter magnitude/mana upgrade. Sting was very different from Yoppa's in all respects except resist type (magnitude, cast time, efficiency, recast, resist adjust).

And it should be equally clear that Sting is NOT a rain.
