scs3 before anything else (18 AAs), then Ancestral Aid 3 (15 AAs), CoTW, SC, and if you're grinding fast get spell gem, but that's really a luxury.

he seemed to want aa that helped his raiding stature. shaman res is nice in xp group when the cleric dies...but in raids i think ive used it one time. it is definatly an aa to purchase, but i was answering based on raid encounters

Even raiding shaman need to exp sometimes and COTW is something groups expect you to have. If the cleric goes down and you say "oops, haven't bought that one yet" you will disappoint your group. I expect all group members to be able to utilize as many expected abilities as possible (necros should have EEs, shaman/druids should have rez, etc).

I'm with Sebekiz on this. You only need to use it once to feel that it was great. You were the 1 person that saved the entire raid. I've been in this position several times, that probably colours my view of the utility of the AA.

Oh, and having CotW is a GREAT excust for running off and camping when things go south. Sometimes you get to live and avoid the wipe, and I hate dying .

Shaman have a lot of good AA choices like Scowls sasy, none of which are wrong, they are just 'differently useful'. And a lot of it comes down to personal and playstyle preference

As a shaman who mainly does 1 group activities, Call of the Wild is my favorite new aa after being gone for 14 months. It's extremely handy and I have been very glad to have it almost every day. I've rezzed our cleric back into MPG trials, back into places like RSS, etc. Places where it would be difficult or impossible (see invis mobs in the way, etc) for them to run back. Even when it is possible for them to run back, it's such a time saver when you are exping. With the level of my gear + my tanks gear, it is difficult for me to heal for any extended amount of time in places like RSS. Call of the Wild was the first AA I purchased when I returned and leveled to 70 and I haven't regretted it for a second! Spiritual channeling was the second one I purchased.... I did purchase extra spell gem with some refunded AAs I had when I first logged in though.

I think as a raider and with only 100 AA, there is a lot of other AA that would be more useful to you than rez.

Like Spiritual Channeling, Radiant Cure 3, SCS (since you are undergeared with no defensive AA), SCRM, Healing AA, Defensive AA, etc etc.

click my magelo and look thru the aa i've trained. Ive got crazy stories for them all like every other shaman. and proud of every one of them. i think we have a tremdously versitile list of choices when it comes to aa, and it does 100% depend on your playstyle and needs on what aa to train next. (i trained adv innate sta and wis long ago because of uqus, i didnt have all the usefull aa done, but those extra stats came in VERY handy).
