I've been playing EQ since the Kunark expansion came out and have never stopped playing for longer than a month at most until now. I will still have my account active so one of my RL friends can box my toon if they want. However, for all intents and purposes, I'm done. I'm swamped with school I just dont have the playtime or stomach for a grind to 75 that will come with the new expansion. I'll still cruise these boards though

BTW, trolls are, and will always be, the best race for a shaman. Although these days it seems trolls are rarer than lizards.

Good luck with that "Real Life" thing I keep hearing about. Despite my wife's best efforts, I'm nowhere near sold on it myself, but I hear others have tried it and found it almost as good as Everquest.

As for Shaman races, I played an Iksar throguh 70 and halfway into the Demi-plane of Blood (before the guild I was in started to fall apart). I'm playing a Barb on the Combine now, only because I could stand them slightly more than the other choices on day 1 of the server, but I still miss being an Iksar. I've been very tempted to try to PL a new Iksar Shaman as a main on the Combine, but I just haven't got the time despite how much I miss it.
