1. No change to the forums, so settle down.
2. I'm giving google ads a trial month on the static pages only to see if it actually brings in anything worthwhile.
3. The ads will stay at the very bottom of those pages.
4. Please don't give the ads a bunch of bogus clicks - that's worse than no clicks at all. I'm not asking anyone to change any behaviour; in fact, I'm asking you not to change your behaviour. Surely an extra inch of text at the bottom of each of those pages won't impact your viewing very much.
5. Why? Well, if I can get paid for doing my hobby, why not?
6. Is this the first step on the long road to popups and other crap? Probably not.
7. Is the world coming to an end? Probably, but not due to this.
