In the hope that somebody may still read this and like my ideas, here are the areas I would like to see improvements for the next expansion and suggestions on how to achieve that:
Healing "utility": (not a new heal, as that's a given, but healing utility like a DI that fires off a small(3k) instant heal + HoT(500ish) or a mitigation effect(50%, 3200 cap). A Instant Heal AA(5k)(could also be 1:1 HP exchange between the Shaman and the target) or a targeted AG(separate AA that shares the timer with our AG, so that you have do choose which one to use). A /shield style short duration buff or ability 75%/25%, to reduce damage on the tank for incoming mobs. Just some suggestions.
Survivability: Self only DI, higher damage cap on AG or lower reuse. Higher base mitigation and returns for AC past the soft cap, as Shaman are often forced to cast slow on mobs that are not "locked" yet, because our heals do not allow for 2 or more unslowed mobs to be tanked by a tank and often results in us taking a beating till the tank locks them due to that. A 75% self only defensive slow proc(could not be abused as no Shaman in their right mind would want to tank several mobs)...something.
Damage: A high DPS DoT with a 1:1 damage(/tic)/mana ratio with a chromatic -30 resist check. This would allow Shaman to add some damage to most fights without tieing up too many spell slots or relying on melee heavy set ups to use Panther as the only form of damage. This also would allow Shaman in group to add some damage quick and reliably and eliminate the arguably small issue with Panther damage not stacking well in the event that you have more than 1 Shaman in group.
