Distill I – cures 4 x 2 = 8 total
Distill II – cures 4 x 3 = 12 total
Distill III – cures 4 x 4 = 16 total
Distill IV – cures 4 x 5 = 20 total
Distill V – cures 4 x 6 = 24 total
Distill VI – cures 4 x 7 = 28 total
Distill VII – cures 4 x 8 = 32 total
Distill VIII – cures 4 x 9 = 36 total
Distill IX – cures 4 x 10 = 40 total
Distill X – cures 4 x 11 = 44 total

Remaining counters on one wave will not be applied to another spell, but once the first spell is dispelled, the successive waves should be applied to the next spell. Hence the advantage to 4 waves of 11 counters, vs 1 wave of 44 counters.
