I'd go back to playing your Paladin myself.

Let some other person be subjected to all those tells for buffs and so on. If you are going to be the only Shaman on raids most of the time you better get used to watching tells and become adept at swapping spells all the time, along with everything else a Shaman does on raids.

It gets old, but I guess I'm jaded since I have been doing it for 7 years now.

Biggest peeve: Buffing a raid with group buffs... and 2 minutes later getting tells from 8-10 people all asking for single buffs because they were not at the raid on time for whatever reasons.... /r /strangle.

Another peeve: Up to your elbows doing things to keep group alive... in the middle of the mayhem someone asks you for buffs... still busy with doing whatever you can to keep group alive and the same person gets all indignant because you didn't stop to buff them. It's times like that where I should just blast the jackass verbally, but somehow I manage to keep my fingers from typing evil replies.

Guess what I am trying to say is this: If you don't like buffing, or remotely suspect that you won't like it... get out while you can.

Reason why I never go with mana augs (I even pass on the +90 one in Qvic) is because I honeslty can't remember the last time I ran out of mana. Even for when I do, I still have SC to fall back on.

Though for some reason I've noticed running out of HP tends to gate me to my bind point naked.

Hmm as I have stated before I have a monk main and a Shaman.

As for Might yes it makes a differnce, 5 percent is a lot in a game of inches like EQ. Will I ask for might as we engage? hell no, will I send a nice tell to a druid for lions or a shaman for might before the battle? Absolutely.

I usually ask a druid because well they aren't as busy as Shamans, but if for some reason no druids, I will ask for might. Might lasts over an hour so is NOT a big deal to cast assuming that you aren't already engaged.

Champion, its nice, but I don't ask for it cause well its a pain in the rump to cast, if I get it great, if I don't I will go without it.

Also for the record I always say please when asking for a buff, and usually thank you. Though I have had some shaman say they do not like tells of thank you since it intereferes with there /rt to target for other buffs.
