Does it blink for a few seconds before fading, thus "warning" you that it will soon be gone? Or does it just vanish?

Are you fighting mobs that dispell? It is easy for the "You feel a bit dispelled" message to get lost in the battle spam; and then you notice that of course the mob didn't dispell your clicky junk buff, it dispelled something important like your conviction or c6.

Well I felt bad once tanking in WoS (with my monk) for some reason my Conviction kept getting dispelled, seemed like every 3 or 4 mobs Boom conviction gone again. Cleric was a RL friend but could tell he was getting annoyed. That was when I noticed Cleric begins to cast Annul Magic. He had jsut gotten the Annul clickie from Time and had made a hotbutton for it which took up a hot button he used to use every now and then, so every now and then he would out of habit use his old hotbutton (no idea what it was) and dispel me.

Was hilarious when we finally found out what it was.

One other posibility, any chance you are not a shaman and are using the black sword (forget the name) from captain Bellos in Kael? Had another friend who when he hit 45 and the cancel magic proc started going off couldn't figure why he had to keep recasting SOW.

If at all possilbe get in a group with someone who has the leadership ability that shows spells being cast and their name and see if something is going off right ebfore you loose the buff.

The buff does not blink at all nor am I fighting anything that dispels. Although I haven't played for two months I am fairly certain nothing in Shyra/Bloodeye's instance that dispel. There is no dispel message either however I did notice that when I had Theft of Rage in the second buff slot, it had red text at one point that said "You cannot remove this effect." No one is trying to dispel me, the game just automatically tries to remove whatever is in the second slot.
