What Buffs do you plan to Block?

Looks like jester stuff can't be blocked other than lightsource spells as they are technically not spells.

Will see how it's with mod rods today as we had raid free day yesterday so couldn't test it.

I havent tried it yet, but the two versions of the wine that the jester summons are:

So if you can block either of them, presumably you could choose to only block the "bad" one if you so wished.

Again.... I havent tried it yet, but will when I get home tonight.

EDIT: Actually, I looked at it again and these are the effects from the wine, not the spells that summon the wine, so Im talking bollox

I use mod rods. It's all good mana. Foolish not to use them IMO

since annul is classified as benifical on lucy, add :

and skip being dispelled in the arena, and yes this is confirmed to work

Mod rods are blocked, had a mage do MGB rods last night in PoK after i set upp the ini file and it worked.

I happen to use Mod Rods rather frequently. Anytime I die during a raid upon being rezzed I first loot my gear, then hit Canni V, Ancient Chaotic Pain and a Mod Rod to instantly get up over 20% mana. It's not a huge amount, but it does save a couple ticks off getting back to full mana or even to where I can drop some buffs if needed.

Amazing, I'm STILL learning useful tidbits to use in-game, like:

Auspice, adds chance to crit heal and crit nuke
Voice of the Berserker adds AC <=== goodbye Champ
Maitz INI file list to block beneficial buffs

That we would be blocking most ranger buffs was a given. I've already been requesting GoTE for the AC, but thanks to this post, I'll be adding Auspice to my ranger "request" list.
EDIT: Lucy lists Auspice as a level 0, no class buff... Is it a ranger AA, similar to our Anc Aid?

I used to always keep VotB on myself (even had a special mini-spellset called "v" to mem it quick). Ever since I got Champ tho, I weighed out the differences and abandoned VotB, esp since Champ blocked it. Not anymore. With GotE, VotB, and tribute AC, that's an additional 125 AC that a non-acute shaman would miss out on. HUGE.

After reading the linked posts on hate, aggro procs, and ppm formulas, I've decided it's best to NOT have any form of haste whatsoever to maximize variance on procs per minute; lower weapon delay means higher chance to proc per swing. And shammy melee is all about procs, for me...so,

to-be-BLOCKED list:

all haste
ranger ATK buffs
all DS
Champ (but not blocked on pup)
several SK buffs, TBD
