HHK MM LFG!!!

Someone tried something similar on the Tibunal. Stanos wasn't up, but Anson did a lot of damage. He either has mad regen, or Ten million HP. Started helping to take him down when he was on ~80%, did MM, came back & he was on ~10. Dropped 2 daggers.

There's no problem with people who do Monster Missions for fun or for times when they only have limited time on and/or can't pull together a solid group together and the MM becomes a good substitute.

The problem is people who do it because it's not only easy XP but it's fast. Are people flocking to the MM in OT as well? No... they're all flocking to HH and repeating the same adventure over and over grinding them. Meanwhile, the rest of us are actually fighting and playing our real characters, taking real risks to get sometimes less XP than these Missions give out.

The Missions should be fun but challenging, longer or if not longer have their XP rewards greatly reduced. They should be an alternative, not a playstyle. It just doesn't make any sense getting XP for your class that you're not even playing.

Right now missions like HHK are virtually giving out AA's for free and those of us who choose to not or seldom do any MM feel like we're getting punished for doing so when we hear about so and so getting 10 AA's a night without even breaking a sweat.

I feel more punished when I do a MM than by going afk in GH and not getting AAs. Mobs in level 70-appropriate conent will smack the bejesus out of these newbs, and they'll have to go back to what will have become less rewarding content for them to get skillups - besides these, I mean:

A_mob bitchslaps YOU!
You have taken 3500 points of damage!
A_mob backhands YOU!
You have taken 2700 points of damage!
You have become better at Defense (2)
You have gotten your ass splatted by A_mob!

Hey original point was people are using these as a way to lvl at an incredible rate with absolutly no risk and a lot of other negative aspects which we have all talked about. This was in no way ment to hurt any one who wants to play with friends or do something with 30 minutes before they log. I am talking about people who abused this and they know who they are ... I was sucked in a few and wish I could give the xp back = picture Ace Ventura from pet detective when he realizes who Lois Enhorn is =)

One of my buddies went from 68 to 70 in a day ... I actually lost a little respect for him because of this, but i know I will get over it. BTW last night I logged in and there was only 22 people in HH ... nerf?

There is TONS of content for new players. The problem is, no one is using it. There are many factors that play into it not being used, but there is no denying the vastness of Norrath.

That said, I use MMs to get AAs faster than I would normally. They are great for when I can't dedicate a bunch of time at the keyboard, but can spare 20-30 minutes. I'll do an MM, then go afk or camp for a half hour and do something productive in RL, then do another MM.

Without MMs, I might not even bother logging on when I know I can only play a half hour or so. I wouldn't want to inconvenience a real group by leaving as soon as things got going, and I don't always want to 2-box exp zones for AA all the time (although I still do a fair amount). Being able to grab an AA on both accounts (I two-box the MMs too) in that 30 minutes is very beneficial to me.
