Go and hit Launch Missions Database.

Go to Darkhollow then click on Monster Missions and you'll see a list of them all with info/walkthroughs.

The great Lord Nagafen resides in his lair, keeping safe his treasures and minions. There is a rumor that a guild of ruthless and greedy individuals seeks to put an end to him. They must be stopped at all costs!

This mission begins in Lavastorm Mountains at loc +2705.96, -108.54 -46.14. If you were headed to Dragon Head for a DoN mission, this location is just outside of the mouth of the tunnel that leads to the Dark Reign side. You are looking for "A Weary Traveler" a halfling in basic garb standing alone. Have your group of adventurers gather at this point. My group consisted of several classes and levels ranging from 52 to 70 but this doesn't matter because everyone for this monster mission played a different role! You do not need to assume a monster form in POK before doing this mission.

Once you are all gathered hail the traveler and go through the short text. Upon stating the first command phrase. You will be offered the following choices as to the monster you would like to be for this adventure.

Magus Rokyl - Level 51 Wizard- wearing Polished Mithril Mask, Rokyls Channelling Crystal

King Tranixx - Level 52 Shadow Knight- wearing the Crown of King Tranixx and Polished Mithril Torque.

Warlord Skarlon - Level 53 Warrior - wearing Mithril Vambraces, Mithril Greaves, Razing Sword of Skarlon.

Priest of Nagafen x3 - Level 49 Cleric - wearing Prayer of Life

Lord Nagafen - Level 55 Warrior - Wearing Cloak of Flames and Red Dragon Scales.

This mission is simple... You and your friends play these monsters and defend Lord Nagafen from the invading raiders. The raiders arrive 2 minutes after you zone in, you have that time for everyone to be zoned in or you will lose the adventure. You will have to face 6 waves of 16 raiders killing a total of 96 of them. There is a brief period of time between each waves I would estimate to be around 90 seconds to 120 seconds. If done right you will never need it.

I should start by saying we wiped 5 times in a row to the first round of raiders while we got organized and learned what we were doing on the 6th and 7th try we did it with extreme ease and won both times flawlessly. Each wave consists of at least 5-6 player types, You will face waves of clerics, druids, shamans, paladins, warriors and waves of Beastlords, Necromancers, Shadow Knights, Magicians, Monks. The waves with the clerics are by far the hardest as they are capable of healing the entire raiding force of 16 while they beat your peers down one by one.

Also be very careful of the wizards and enchanters. The enchanters can charm some of the giants and wizards can pack quite a punch. When you arrive you are in Nagafen's Chamber with your back against the wall of that chamber facing the bridge leading up. We positioned Nagafen up front and in the center of the bridge, we kept all three clerics just behind Nagafen with the other 2 characters on either side of Nagafen.

This is a feat of crowd control and aggro management on the part of Nagafen and the priests. Nagafen has one AoE fear spell and a 500 dmg AE and they come in HANDY and also an AoE taunt. Our basic strategy to win was simple. 1 Priest was assigned to heal Naggy (if he dies you lose) 1 Priest was assigned to heal all other group members, and the third Priest was assigned to back up heal and mez healers using the Sleep ability. All Priests if not healing were to be mezzing raiding healers i.e. Clerics, Shamans, Druids in that order.

When a priest got any heal aggro or anyone got close to death we depended on the player playing Nagafen to burn an AoE fear giving us time to heal up and reposition ourselves. It was necessary for us all to stay closely behind Naggy to keep the raiders in range for the AoE taunt / fear to hit. The only time someone died was when someone left that range and was also out of range for heals. Nagafen is main tank for this event and should target clerics, shaman, druids to kill in that order following with the melee. The other two players are simply to assist Nagafen and help to burn down the raiders one by one as quickly as possibly. The priests have the "Smoke Bomb" ability which allows them to drop aggro and back up to heal or mez and should use this anytime they get any aggro.

If anyone other than Nagafen dies don't worry! You are merely knocked unconscious for 20 seconds and then teleported to the priest chamber with half mana and life. You must rush back to Nagafen's Chamber to rejoin your friends! If Nagafen dies then the mission ends and everyone is teleported back to the Weary Traveler and you must start over. This mission only took roughly 30-40 minutes or less once we knew what to do... we took our time and went through each wave one by one with little difficulty once we got used to our monster skills and abilities and learned to use them together.

We failed the first 2-3 times while setting up our Monster AA's and Hotkeys. I don't believe we lost any experience or suffered any penalty for failures and were allowed to re-enter immediately. It is of the utmost importance to set up your Hotkeys and spend your AA's as soon as you zone in and then save them.

I had an extremely fun time playing this event and being Nagafen myself was exhilarating. But the pay off was amazing! Upon completion I found that I'd received about 2 full AA points at completion. A level 64 character claimed to have gotten over a full yellow bulb of experience! We were also given a pair of gloves for loot.

This mission starts with the iksar Historian Azern NPC in the Overthere near the zone in to Frontier Mountains just where the road ends and the canyon to Frontier Mountains begins.

Once you enter the instanced vsrsion of the Overthere you will notice the green mist has taken to the air. There is a battle between slaves and Shissar below you can safely avoid them at this point.

Head to the canyon in the middle of the zone and you will find circles of dead Shissar and the body of a Shissar commander. Once you have seen the carnage it is time to get your revenge!

Kill 15 Shissar anywhere in the zone. They can be found along the road or spread out across the land.

With the Shissar dead make your way to the Warslik Woods zoneline. Make sure you are all together and avoid agro or fight along the way.

Once you see the Warslik zone you will see Slavemaster Dryyl.

NPC who gives the mission: Mister Squich north of the docks in Butcherblock
Name of Mission: The Poisoned Flounder
Expansion: Depths of Darkhollow (monster mission)
Requirements: At least three people

In this moster mission you play Gunthak pirates raiding Freeport for plundered treasure. You have 45 minutes to collect as much treasure as you can with 100 peices being the ultimate goal.

Your monster choices are warriors clerics rogues and enchanters. The most successful group build seems to be 1 war/cleric/chanter and 3 rogues. I have not yet heard of anyone getting all 100 treasures but neither have I heard of anyone not beating the mission: the rumor mill puts the minimum number to get the prize at the end as only 30 treasures.

The common prize is a pair of chain boots for Ranger/Rogue/Shaman/Berserker. AC 30 Dex/Sta/Wis/Int/Cha 9 HP 95 Mana/End 90. Disease/Magic/Poison 8.

Uncommon is an augment with 45 HP.

Starting zone: Undershore

Quest NPC: Freemind Cipher. Big mushroom south of the bottom of the waterfall from Corathus. Loc is neg 1500 by neg 700.

You begin this quest by targeting one of the purple mushrooms around Freemind Cipher and "/open"ing them. When you loot the mushroom within, you are able to talk to the Freemind and get his missions.

Rememberence is a 1/2 group mission tuned for 3 people but doable with six.

Steps:
- Speak to Freemind Cipher. This transports you and your friends to Runnyeye during the time when the Evil Eyes enslaved the goblins.

- Speak to the Mold Master. When you transport in, speak to the large mushroom right where you start.

- Kill 30 Evil Eyes. They're everywhere.

- Kill King Oberaxe. Kill the current king of the evil eyes down in the basement.

- Speak with the Freemind Cipher. Go to the Mold Master, say "leave" and then hail the Freemind when you return.

We received a pair of Supple Leather Boots with 9 hp, 90 mana, and 90 endurance for Druids, Monks, and Beastlords.

Starting NPC: Freemind Cypher in Undershore, south east in Undershore just south of the Corathus waterfall on the shores below.

Time to complete: 45 minutes.

Mission Zone: Sporali Caverns

Steps:
- Speak with Freemind Cipher to enter the zone
- Speak with Freemind Cipher to hear how he can keep you [safe]
- Fight your way past the invading orcs with the Freemind Cipher.
This is labeled as a 1/2 group mission but its a lot harder than three people can handle. Pick three tanks and three healer / mezzers. Be ready to handle a lot of added orcs. As soon as you get into the zone, buy your AAs and set up your hotkeys. The orcs come in packs of three at a time and hit hard so be ready to mez adds and heal. You can hail the Freemind and say "keep me safe" to get him to fill up your mana.

The reward was a set of Fingerless Silk Gloves 100 hp 105 mana pure caster gloves.

Location: a Crushbone thaumaturge loc -625, -150, just off the path to the right just north of East Commonlands zoneline

The Rescue of Vordak

Quest NPC and Zone in Nektulos Forest.

Quest starts at the orc, but the zone in to the mission is at loc -380, 380.Steps:
- Locate where Vordak is being held.
- Speak with Vordak.
- Find A Gnawed Key.
- Deliver 1 Gnawed Key to Vordak.
- Guard Vordak as he flees.

Mission has you playing Crushbone orcs, level 20,invading a deathfist camp. Mission can be done by 3 very experienced players, but i reccommend 5-6 for first timers. You can pick from Brute(warrior), Spiritualist(cleric), or Arcanist(wizard). My usual group formation is 1-4 brutes, 1 wizard, 1 cleric. First off, have one of your brutes run inside, following the left wall into the cave, hail Vordak then stop and die. This will cause the chest to spawn outside in the woods. The chest will spawn in 1 of 2 place. the first place is just ahead of the zone in to the right. the second place is in the big clearing.

After you find the chest, loot the key and start clearing back to the cave. Once you've cleared to vordak, give him the key. Now you have to escort vordak to safety. As soon as he has the key, 2 orcswill spawn outside the cave and run inside. After the orcs are dead, he walks to the cave entrance and stops for a minute or two, 2 more orcs will spawn after that. Then he starts moving again, this time to the left, the opposite direction of where you zoned in at. he moves for a bit, and theres a chance of orcs spawning to intercept, then stops again, with another chance of 2 orcs spawning. After his final stop, he walks the rest of the way to another zoneout, in the big clearing.

Vodrak isnt weak, and has decent dps, but be sure to keep mobs off him. Mobs inside the zone respawn, so be sure to not get overwhelmed while inside.

Loot includes a rare chest drop

A Crushbone Mana Trinket.

45 Mana 45 Endurance aug.

And a pair of caster boots, 95 mana, some various stats, the common loot.

NPC who gives mission: a dark spirit of Nektulos (wanderer)
Name of the mission: Queen Nok Nok's Tomb
Mission Information: Monster Mission that takes place in Nektulos.

You say, 'Hail, a dark spirit of Nektulos'

A voice arises from the trees all around you. It sounds like leaves rustling in the wind. A dark spirit of Nektulos says, 'What brings you to my woods, mortal? If it's [forgotten things] you seek, let me be your guide. I am older than every leaf and stone of these woods. I can lead you to wondrous things, for a price of course."

You say, 'What forgotten things?'

Select a task: Queen Nok Nok's Tomb
Long before the dark elves stumbled blinking onto the surface, this small corner of the woods marked the domain of the Razor Wing fairies. Forget what you know of fairies, these creatures were evil and twisted and had faces like rotten fruit. Their civilization, if it can even be called that, is long gone. All that remains is the secret glade-crypt of their old leader, Queen Noknok of the Razor Wing. The entrance to their glade is too small to enter, but I can change you into a fairy which will enable you to wiggle your way inside. Recover the dust on Queen Noknoks wings, I need to sustain my spirit and will reward you with a treasure most fitting.

Be careful, the Razor Wing fairies were known for their curses and conniving tricks. The also have a strange affinity for rats and magical wisp creatures called witch lamps.

You should avoid attracting the attention of the witch lamps for they are impervious to all forms of attack. So if you are attacked you must run from them and hope they will forget about you.

[This task begins in Nektulos]

There is only one character class available for this mission, extremely slow fairy rangers.

The entrance to the instance is -357.22, 410.46, -17.52.

Task steps:
-touch entrance to shadow grove (zone in)
-find queens nok noks tomb (make first right from zone in and it is in the cave)
-retrieve the fairy dust (attack the chest with melee attacks. Inside of this chest is the fairy dust as well as the loot item. Upon looting the fairy dust the witch lamps will turn into rats that are killable.)
-break the curse by destroying the fiery shrines (There are 3 scattered throughout this small zone and upon taking their health to within the 40% range a red undead will spawn to protect it. These undead will protect the shrine for a period of time then patrol into the cave and wait there for a period of tim before going back to their shrine.)
-escape the barrow with the fairy dust (zone out with fairy dust in hand)
-(opt) give the shadowed spirit the pinch of dust from queen noknok's tomb
The reward is exp and the loot that dropped in the chest for us was:

Done the Naggy mission a couple times with some friends from an old alliance and was great to be able to group with them on the mission. Sometimes it's hard to group with them because the places I like to go to are flagged/keyed zones that they don't have access to and I know they feel bad/guilty (they've told me) for "dragging me around through trivial content". So the mission was a nice way to play on a level field with them.

No way I could do that mission (and probably any other) consecutively more than 2 (3 tops). I'd compare them along the lines of an ldon adventure, good for a random/short diversion, but they quickly become mind-numbingly dull in large quantities.
