hehe. Well on Stormhammer you can tell the end is near (one week near to be precise) Zero people in HHK, 3 people in pofire, 1 person in the bazaar and 4 people in POK, two of which are me. I think we hit around 60 people online this weekend at peak. Needless to say, not much taking advantage of double xp on stormhammer, but our gm staff is trying to make up for it by having really fun events for those who are around.
I think overall SoE handled this situation very well. There's never a solution that will make everyone happy, but they're at least trying to do /something/ to make restitution. Just sit and think of how many people would be complaining if they hadnt done agressive rollbacks, likely more than are complaining now about the ones they had. When the number of metalic drake scales in the bazaar went from 4 or 5 to 400 to 500 or more you better believe people would have complained
It's when i see threads like this, and people complaining so loudly about how sony handled something that, despite how it's ending, i'm glad for the 4 years i spent on stormhammer, and the wonderfull job that SOE's customer service team was able to do. This all to me says "they're trying" like everything though sometimes they'll hit, sometimes they'll miss. But quitting a game over something like this and 'vowing to never buy another sony product' is being puerile.
