For now:
I have used two UI's in the recent past and loved both. The first was . I downloaded a horizontal spellbar for use with that UI. Then a couple weeks ago, I got an itch for a real minimalist UI, and switched to . I downloaded buff and song windows that display icons at half normal size, and got rid of the horizontal spellbar. Emil's UI is slightly more efficient in that it has clicky slots along the bottom of the hotbutton1 window. There is a post in the UI forum that will show you how to make hotbutton slots linked to inventory slots (for clickies).

Like it, I can dig up the author that was a long time ago, at least two major ui changes, but he always kept things up to date.

I love Samanna's but i dont know if my Monitor is big enough to have all that and still be ledgable .

How big is your monitor that you can have that much realist up at one time?

some say mine is cluttered, others like it. i try to keep as much as i can at the top and along the sides if i can and every indow see thru so that it doesnt block my view

Mine is surprisingly close to Ungkor's.
Fairly simple, title bars removed, one horizontal hotbar, the rest verticle, etc.
I'm not a big fan of having buff names out there. It takes up screen real estate thats at a premium. By now, I expect to know at a glance what the icons mean.

i dont really need the buff names for buffs, its the dots, DT markers, and what not that mobs cast on me that i like to know the name of...like vishes' DT that has same symbol as his dot, missing that is very bad

IMO 1280x1024 is just about the perfect size for playing eq, but a lot of UIs are deisnged around 1600x1200. I made my own UI with minor mods to the old base UI. I'll post pics when i get home from work.

im not the oldest shaman around, but i really dont need anything telling me when canni is up...i just know and hit the button...or look and see that the hotkey reset (stoped announcing that i was cani'ing cause nowadays 1924 hps isnt all that much of a dent). after hitting canni 5 for a while you should just feel the rythm, or if you have 2.0 you can watch it count down and click them together.
