Supposedly: New spells including an AWESOME 10% rain slow for us (yes, I'm joking), five more levels (I wish I was joking), AE Mala totem (dear sweet Buddha let this be a joke), and Bobcat Goldthwait will be supplying the voice for Fennin Ro. Fran Drescher will be Fennin. Their shrill, broken laughter will strike terror into the hearts and eardrums of all who overhear it. (SO a joke.)

All I've got to say is that if we have to level up, they had better lose that F'ing 30% exp penalty! The exp needed to cover an extra 30% of every level (since every level takes more experience than the last) is getting insane. How freaking long do we have to pay for what are (at end game) very minor abilities. I've already paid like 100+ AA for my regen and AC! :p

I feel the pain to a lesser degree as well Chutoi.

Barbs pay a smaller exp penalty but all we get for it is slam which is capped at a skill of 1 for 70+ levels.
The only Barb class that really gains much from slam is Warriors which have a class exp bonus which offsets the penalty.

Not to mention we lose our race abilities in bear form.

Heck I would be happy to get even the minor increases at this point....
Would slam getting 1 skill upgrade a level for 70-75 levels of 5% exp paid really be that overpowering?

It's just another fine example of penalty costs outscaling benefits in EQ.
Something we know all too well already as Shaman.

We have enough problems trying to get them to balance classes let alone races so I wont hold my breathe for a change

i finished them, and they have helped me farm many more nodding blue lilies than without them....sadly thats the extent of usefulness ive found for them.

i still need to finish the other 3 arcs for that clicky mask though. i have the 69 and 70 (poison and disease) clickers, but when i have those, self buffs, frost gaurd, 8th ring, MMM, form of endurance, and maybe a cleric buff, i quickly approach over buffed...maybe the new expansion will have more buff slot AA...or group leadership buff slots. or a GL aa for lower amounts of folks in group to gain/use Groupleadership.

Woo! I finished all the good DoD AAs awhile ago, I can't wait for something new to work on. A reason to play your main character = a great thing! I only make twinks to keep myself busy since Bernz is pretty much set as far as loot and AAs go.

I really thought there were going to be more DoD AAs but they didn't release very many at all. So hopefully when this new expansion comes out they will put in new AAs and 5 new levels, that would be great.

I like & use Greater Rabid Bear. I like & use Ancestral Guard. Both are lifesavers. Gift of Mana I will like & use, when Rashere fixes it to work for all non-buff 66+ spells that cost mana. I have faith he'll do so.

Monks got Run 8, and any bitching about the other AA will be met with incredulous shout-downs, because monks got Run 8. Other than that, Willful Death and the Atk cap increaser might not be insane in the membrane, insane in the brain, but they do what they do.

Gear in Demiplane was a tad worrisome at first blush, but as more appears, it looks like it'll work out for nearly all classes. We'll see when the drop tables are fully plumbed for real.

Spells... well, I don't have anything good to say about Shm spells. Got me there, they're bad. Really amazingly bad. Incredibly bad. Sooo bad. :p

Well, maybe we'll all get run 8 next expansion.
I play on FV, so no alts to swap in, have the spells doing nothing in spellbook
