The point was, Pre GoD, Shaman and necro POTENTIAL dps where theoreticaly close.
Now, they are not in the same range.
Necro dot DPS alone is far and away, beyond shaman dot dps.
and of course if you add in agro, necros have never had an agro issue, wheras shaman DoT agro was high enough during PoP that we've ahd to scale back.

I said something about aggro early on. I'd need to go back and parese out all necro dots and shaman dots but I'd be shocked to find it closer then 150-200dps.
Shrug either way it's a moot point I don't think the answer for shaman right now is to give them new dots. Especially since they are resistable as hell most of the time. I'm always shocked when I get resists in most zones on necro. On my shaman I expect it.
