Just starting work on one of the new augments from DoD--wish me luck.
But I have a question: you have a range of choices for what spell focus you build into the augment. The obvious choices for a shaman are the "increase cold damage 45%" and "increase poison damage 45%", plus possibly the healing increase. But there's one other that I'm curious about (because frankly, I have pretty much all of the other focuses anyway):

Its on the Last Blood of the Beastlord augment. but all of the augments list as all/all. So I'm wondering--does this look like something that would have any effect on our "spirit companion"? Might be fun to power up dogdog with a focus, and see if he can actually hit for over 50 lol. I can't see anything on Lucy that indicates I can't use it, but then again, I know there are some pet focus items that won't work on dogdog.

Disregard. I just saw on EQ Traders Corner where Ngreth says the pet focus was removed post-beta, because they couldn't make it class specific, but they didn't want shaman pets to be focusable. 
That pretty much means that I don't need a single one of the 20-odd focuses that are available for the augment, which pretty much bites.

As Zethrir said, even if you could equip a pet focus item it would do nothing for doggie.
