No but the survivors (us !) get penalized by having to rebuff that dumb ass who didn't hear the raid leader say like 10 times AE ramp, or they are too stupid to know waht max melee means !

There is only ONE situation where a shaman can out-survive a cleric. The shaman has to be close to the zoneline, and zone before the mt dies.

In a raid situation, if your tanks are not getting PUMMLED, your gear is past the content you are raiding. READ THIS SENTENCE AGAIN.

*note* TACVI HAS NO ADDS IN ANY EVENT, IT CAN BE DONE W/O A SHAMAN VERY EASY.
*note 2* SLOWING A ROOTED MOB IS NOT HARD TO SURVIVE ON

Take a 4khps unbuffed shaman to Anguish with my guild. He'll survive overpulls of 10+ mobs. You can't even outaggro the rangers who'll be offtanking.. it's not the shaman, it's the tanks..

Now take a 11k unbuffed shaman to Queen Sendaii with 12.5k unbuffed tanks. OMG watch the slaughtering of the shaman.

When the 14k 3.2kAC unbuffed warrior is just getting his ass handed to him so bad that you are pretty much chaining your heal to keep him alive, while the other 6 shaman are bouncing balance off of the mobs ass.. GUESS WHAT! As soon as the tank dies, the cleric is going to get summoned, DA, and then SEVEN shaman WILL die..

If he doesn't DA or DB, he will sanctuary, if he doesn't he can DvA, he can epic, all will save his life..
if he does die, he has AA that can bring him back to life.. he also DI'd himself, he has his melee rune on..

Keeping your buffs after a lost fight is not a game balance issue. It's an issue with your priorities. Click instant gate (buyable from vendors in PoK & every home city) if running away is what you want.

*NOTE ON YOUR NOTE* THERE ARE ADDS ALL OVER THE PLACE IN TACVI

Oh, and if your melee can lock agro on a 10-pull before you land a single agro-inducing spell 100% of the time, you're not doing your job.

doesnt matter if theres adds in tacvii or not (and he means roaming around the zone, not the ones the named spawn)...doors are locked, your not going anywhere

err.....6 or 7 shaman on Sendaii ? ..wtf. Only need around 2 on any raid.
