The griffin mission got nerfed quite a bit, much harder than it was previously, while your hunting the eggs, groups of yellow/red con mobs come at you, not sure what the deal is but I was trying to avoid them and it almost seems like they track you. Also there are red mobs such as snakes, spiders, the rival griffon and such that sit on top of the eggs and you can't collect the egg if you have agro so you have to have someone pull it away or kill it in order to get the egg. Also Guard Rygus is red con and regens quite a bit. Heres a tip though, let those yellow and red con groups come for ya after you get the 10 eggs, snare guard tygus and the other mobs, then die, track them back since you don't have agro and you'll notice that Guard Tygus will fight them, he always wins it seems but if you get the entire group on him, they will get him down to around 20-40% health, then you can step in and whoop him.
