OK, I have been trying to follow this thread since it talks about haste, but my main is a dumb melee. So if you could simplify and answer just one little question I would greatly apprecaite it.

LOOK, for all of you that think that I am wrong, even though I am comming up with the same answer is you, but calculated my answer in a different way......... You try my way and see ;
Base total swings ____ <---- put any # in here
Lets say our pet has 50% additional haste / with 50% accuracy
As I have stated, only 25% haste counts towards dps (1/2 of 50%). So;
25% of base total swings = ____ <---- booyaaa, That is your effective additional hits. (BTW: which is 50% of total hits, but I didnt calculate it like that)
If you somehow cannot figure this out, or get a different answer then me, then I will give up. (either that, or we are talking about 2 totally different things.)

Xphobe, what happens to your calculations if the accuracy varies? It does you know. your lvl vs monster level has a massive effect. Any Accuracy gear you have. Your weapon skill. Monster facing (parry, dodge, block)
50% accuracy is not a god given absolute number. It varies depending on the character who is doing it and where they are standing in relation to the monster they are attacking.
Your basic assumption of a 50% accuracy is what makes your calculations nonesense, I suspect that you never even questioned that number.
