You dont gear up shrouds, shrouds are essentially a "new character" every time you get your shroud, there is no persistance between them, not even the AA you spend. Shroud stats are balanced around their having no gear. The only gear a shroud is intended to have is the gear it starts with when you talk to the shroudmaster.

That being said, if you bank some inventory clickies, you can use them while in shroud form, but you can only equip gear that's flagged race/class shroud, which is just the gear they start with.


I think the biggest problem is people are thinking of shrouds as essentially new, persistant characters that they can swap into, and people want to get gear for their characters. This is not the case, and there is zero persistance between one use of a level 70 goblin rog, and another use of a level 70 goblin rog.
