In all defensive and offensive aspects that are necessary and crucial to beat Vindicator, the Cleric class is vastly superior to the Shaman, so this is not a surprise at all. I'll actually say that soloing Vindicator as a Cleric is pretty easy. Splitting the guards was the hard part.

Rumblecrush did 210dps to me the first time I soloed him. Vindi appears to do about double that, since he's basically an unslowable Rumblecrush that hits a bit slower innately. The cleric was way over the AC cap for Kael, and with max shielding you can chop 70 damage off of each of Vindi's attacks. I don't know how much (if any significant amount at all) cripple will help.
The problem I see would be managing to do 200+dps while keeping yourself alive. We can't use a panthered pet because of Rampage. With all the best focii for beefing up our ancient heal, this might be doable. Thankfully, We could stack 2 curses and a couple diseases as I don't recall Vindi being too resistant. 5k HoT from the 2.0 every 3 minutes would be great also.
Oh yeah add 350hp a tick for greater rabid bear. RABID BEAR IS KEY!
