Magic
Magic is powered by the digested souls of the dead (sourced out of the ethereal), making resurrection magic significantly more difficult. Reincarnation is unaffected, and is actively encouraged by the Elemental Stewards.
The Planes
The Outer Planes are sealed off; the Inner Planes are typically accessable via extermes of the corresponding element (volcanos and the like). Travel to the Astral is one-way, the Ethereal is where the souls of the dead go, and the Shadow is a battleground filled with strongholds of mild poitive and negative energy dominant zones.
Religion
Primarily, divine worship centers on the Elemental Stewards and their various aspects, except among the Elves, who largely revere Zyo. In addition, an underground following for the ancient deity of madness and invention survives, particularly in the area immediately surrounding the Parched Sovereignty. Any worshippers receiving spells from sources other than these are typically obtaining their power from some aspect of the remaining abyssal powers seeking to gain the upper hand in their conflict in the Twilight. If you have to add new divine entities, try to keep it to Quasi-Deity level.
Monsters
Demons, Devils, Angels, and Celestials are originally native to the Outer Planes, but with the loss of the connection to their original homes are now considered Native Outsiders to the Twilight. They retain their alignment subtypes.
Dragons of Blue, Green, Red, and White considered representatives of the Elemental Stewards, and have the Water, Earth, Fire, and Air subtypes (respectively), instead of their typical subtypes. These dragons do not hoard wealth as other dragons do, are generally well respected, and have Neutral alignments. Other dragon types are generally first generation exiles from Vana, and are not venerated except by fringe cults.
Crucible has no moon (so afflicted Lycanthropes are required to succeed on a Control Shape check to transform).
