Cronikk Undakonn because, amongst my playing friends, shaman were underappreciated and not taken too seriously. Hence, 'Chronic Undercon'. Most buff beggars seem to think I'm on some kind of druggie tip though ... getting *winks* and being asked for 'teh good stuff' gets old pretty quick. To my friends, I'm 'Cron'. Or 'Big dumb smelly troll'.

I hired 100 monkies, put them on 100 keyboards, had them type for 100 days, and took the top 100 non-conventional names.

Gardeltron wasn't on the list.

So I took it.

I don't remember any of my first couple characters--they never made it past level 3-4. Frustrated by my inability to stop dying, I named my next character after , a minor character from Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series who is reincarnated in different forms over and over, only to have each of those forms killed by the same person.

For those of you who have seen the recent movie, but never read the books, Agrajag makes a short appearance in the form of a small bowl of petunias.

The last name, , is also a character from the series, chosen solely because the combination of the two names rolls off the tongue fairly well, I think. All those lovely "R" and "hard G" sounds make for a tough sounding name. Turns out he was somewhat tougher--Agra is the only character I've played past about level 20.

Well honestly, Sustenon is a steroid, made up of 4 differnet testosterones (I work in medicine). So I figured that since shaman make people stronger, hit harder, and faster, etc, it was kind of appropriate.

My first toon I ever made was a wood elf druid named Aerwinn (so original, I know!). She lived a whole 14 levels before my (ex)boyfriend made me change it by refusing to play with me.

A few days later Thlayli was born. I honeslty picked a shaman because they got sow before anyone else and my boyfriend wouldn't shut up about what a great spell it was. Thlayli is the name of a stong leader in a book called Watership Down - it means "fur head" which fits seeing as I'm a kitty and all :D

I also have a monk that I made just to have the name...Kikuin Dajunk, and a chanterbot named Sanrie Suprise (cuz I'm one of those nerds who likes Hello Kitty).

Sustenon I really love the Quote on your sig LOL.

I chose my name with the help of the random generator. First I thought the Barbarians where really tall and build to fight, that made me try names like Tallman, Truck and so on but it was not really nice. I tried Enormous and Enormus but both were refused, they I hitted "get a name" a few times until it wen to something like Ginoxxx. I then chose Ginormus.

I really enjoy this name, Gino is actually a Christian name in Italy so i can receive phone call from EQ friends asking to speak to Gino without having all people in the house looking to me as a fool (Who ever has been asked by his mom/dad/wife "Are you the Dark Vador that Han Solo wants to speak with ?" or "Are you the Meatshield that Increz tries to reach ?"). I discovered only a few days ago (in fact when trolling on this borad) that "ginormous" actually means something ! That explains the tells i received from GMs asking me if i was a saracstic Gnome :)

My first char was named saumerez.

I am a huge fan of the CS Forrester, Patrick O'Bryan and all those folks that write about the great age of sail, particularly around the time of the napoleanic wars. Anyway, Admiral James Saumerez was a fairly prominent officer in the british navy back then. My names kept getting rejected so I grabbed one of my books off the bookshelf and turned to the glossary and saw Saumerez and that was that.

I had a troll warrior named Boppem Onahead and now a shaman named Gurgul Swamphorror (also troll).

I'm not original. I suck at coming up with names. Heck, the first name I ever had online, was for a FPS (Half-Life Deathmatch), and I ende dup going as "Roadkill", since I sucked ahrd and always died and was thus 'roadkill' soon as i was spotted with a dumb look on my face.

Once i started EQ, I mad me a dirty little DE necro and named him Lostfayth. That being after a myraid of spiffy names i ganked from the Final Fantasy series were rejected (aeon, anima, etc). I figureda necro was a solo machine, and a wayward soul kind of, so he was thus lost and a 'fayth' was kinda like a soul in Final fantasy, so thus Lostfayth. He still has no surname.
Tidykat was... a uhm.. well I couldn't think of a name for my new shaman when I bought SoL (rightbefore LOY came out), and since he was a kitty, my first thought was to name him Kittylitter. Rejected. Catlitter. Rejected. And Tidycat was the only cat litter I could think of. Rejected. Tidykat.. Welcome to Cazic Thule Tidykat! And.. yeah that started it all. Surname was Leondegrance, still is, borrowed from a RL friends toon's surname. by roleplay, i'm his son and thus carry the family name. wuwu.

My paladin twink, is SORT of original.. no sorry it's not. I'm an avid fan of highlander, or used to be. I wanted a name that fit along the line of the 4 horsement (Silas, Methos, Korda, and another one). Korda was rejected, Methos was.. and then came Korthos (half Korda, half methods, whee!) and it actually sounds fairly spiffy and latin like. I actually had someone ask me what korthos meant in Latin, and another asked me who he was in greek/roman mythology heh! :( I stole and butchered his surname from Underworld. The family line the lycans were after was uhm.. the Corvinus family line, i think or maybe it was Corwin. Something. But ended up ganking that and brought forth a green and blue froggy known as Korthos Korvinus. Story told. Go me.

I often use "deep cuts" from books/authors I like. For example, my original EQ character, Bleys deOberon (kinda thought it sounded like "Son of Oberon, which is what he is, /shrug) isn't really referencing any of the major characters of the book series he is in (The Amber books by Roger Zelanzy). Some other names I use are from one of my favorite "obscure" works of Frank Herbert, The Whipping Star and The Dosadi Experiment, like Jorj X McKie, Dosadi, and Jedrick.

Blazz, however, was developed as the anti-Bleys character. As a troll, I needed Z's, so I took Bleys and "swampized" it, heh. Since he was originally chreated in EQ's first year, I thought it was kinda cool that a big mob ended up with a pretty similar version, although I am pretty sure it wasnt intentional.

Never took a surname, either, always been just Blazz.

I lamented that I had no shoes, until I met a man with no feet.
