Rain of Ruin

Was doing this quest with my palli and necro, palli looted the amulet from the last guy and handed in, got the update and the blood, was tired and didnt feel like killing him again so logged off. Logged back on today, seems it completed the quest for the necro also because the quest is gone but its shown in my quest history as completed but he didnt get the blood. I went and killed both the avatar and the real one again and let the necro loot the amulet and try to hand in, she gave it back, is there any way, short of redoing this quest, for the necro to get the blood?

Hmm I think you are confused. The quest you describe is actually Destroy the Imposter. Are you trying to hand the necklace into Laarthik or Lanys? Maybe you just got the two tasks switched and are trying to hand into the wrong npc. It is supposed to be Lanys.

As someone mentioned the quest you are describing is nor "Rain of ruin" but instead "destroy the imposter". First step see if "destry the imposter" is in your task list. If not get the task.

Before killing the imposter you need to find a locaiton near him, and then hail him.

All over though it takes about 10 min to do the task and it has to be done seperately for each individual.

You are both correct, I checked my log and the one im showing complete is rain of ruin and the one with the amulet is destroy the imposter, don't know what I was thinking but you are correct also in that I prob could have re-done the quest faster than I can type my problem with it lol, thanks for the replies
