Handling baby spider adds during stitch event

How did your guild handle this?? We tried having SK's kite them.. but I guess we will have to kill them as they will build up to many if we dont.. Soo ya have 4 babies popping every 75 secs long as stitch is active and alive.. Are their HP's low enough that if ya had SK's corral them can a team of wizzies and other classes that can AE nuke take them out ASAP??

we usually have our sk's ae aggro and just have the knights kill them while everyone else burns stitch... I'm sure a few classes throw out ae's to help but they have really low hp. Also a good idea to have the paladins heal the sk's so they can also generate ae aggro and pull a few mobs of the sk's all the while keeping the other healers from getting aggro from keeping the sk's up.

IIRC we have knights agro them, and wizzys burn them down.

too complicated. Sk's ae agro, AE'ers go BOOM!!!!!. All adds dead. if clerics are healing the MT, then druids and shamans should be able to handle the SK's.

All depends on your raid makeup, if you are knight heavy then you are probably in luck with this event. A timer was kept, the emote was announced in raid, and assist was on the adds. We usually are low on casters, so some of our melee DPS had to help. The mobs hit hard, so its more important to get them all dead quickly, then assist back on Stitch.

Its helpful if you have several tanks ready for these mobs, too many on one person usually = dead player.

Update:

We killed Stitch 2 nights ago.. It was just a matter of raid force developing a rhythm of moving from Stitch to babies and handling them. No earring.. and from the sounds of it.. I will have 1-2 shots more before we move on to AG north and FC.. BTW we very low on raiding wizzies/mages .. so it was all about tanks handling the spiders with minor druid AE support..

Best of luck to you on the earring. My guild has killed Stitch alot over the course of many months, even though we are also farming AG north. I think we've gotten 1 on the earrings to drop, maybe two.
