Also, going to Chime in that from a raid perspective it's a waste of resources to have 2 or more shaman in 1 group for an event.

Sure we could stack decently together splitting our myriad of abilities and skills but at the cost of lessoning the overall effectiveness of the raid. I personally would have issues with a RL who set up more then 1 shaman in a grp for the big mobs... I prefer 1 bard, Melee DPS and myself for most raid encounters bard+shm curing/healing usually covers it... With a Druid/Pal sub in when curing/burst healing is essential. One could say were stackable and indeed we are but it's like putting a bard in a Tank Group... Sure there's some use to it, but not anywhere near as useful to the raid as they would be in a melee grp. It does disturb me that they'd waste 3 monks in a grp with 3 shaman do they not know that monk aura = no melee eating enrage?.... Most Tank groups have a monk for that very purpose... I guess when clearing trash it's not so significant... but when enrage occurs and your tank has to stop melee he/she looses a portion of aggro and the mob may turn... hence why monk aura + tank on enraging mob = A Good Thing.

Back to Topic: All I can say is a reiteration of what was stated previously, We're a Priest Arch-type not Hybrid. So, I recommend not posting on that forum unless you can give them some greater perspective. As we all want what is best for our particular class. Sometimes our perspective will help develop and mature good ideas... But needless confrontational/Argumentative posts just deter from the main topic and are a reason why large groups of people with different objectives are often more a hindrance to progress then a few people.

I've grouped with shaman several times on many raid encounters, especially ones where curing is of the utmost importance. the one that sticks out most clearly is in anguish witht he jelvan event, most of the time i was on the mana dot side grouped with another shaman...and a couple CLERICS, never a melee group.

class with the most stackability issues: Bard. group 2 of those together sometime.

Anyone who's claiming panther is 'easily' cast on more than 2, maybe 3 groups on a CONSISTENT basis is giving the wrong impression of Talisman of Panther and making it sound super uber overpowered. Is it a great spell? No doubt...but unless you're wanting to do nothing but Panther, you would have a really hard time keeping it SOLID with no fading on more than 2, maybe 3 groups.
I generally pick 2, sometimes 3 groups to keep Panther/Champion on during raid fights, but if I attempt to do more, I end up neglecting my other duties. Maybe if a raid has 3++ Shaman, one can do nothing but Panther, but then thats not a 'stackability' issue, thats a matter of your raid setup class-wise being out of wack.
Shaman stacks just fine. We're not the best at anything, but a well played Shaman can fill MANY roles, depending on what the raid, and even what the group lacks. Its therein our power lies.

There's no need to nerf Panther to self-group only, because it's a pain in the ass to try to keep it up on a second group.

I keep two groups with Spectre pretty routinely by using the /rt functionality. If that's a melee heavy group, it's pretty trivial to hit them with Panther, too.
