Hmm... what's the difference between a proc modifier (a la ) and a chance to critical hit (a la ?

As for a proc modifier buff in place of the dex on the focus line - I don't see that happening. A few odd buffs have fairly useless stat components - Enchanter haste and mind line, for example. It can be useful in an AE which decreases stats (I've been asked for Diaku by less well geared people in such situations).... The extra stats on focus don't really matter for the most part - people would get the buff for the HP anyway, which is what Ughbash meant.

But I rather think it would be the sort of thing that would belong on a short term buff like champion, panther or Ancestral Favor more than a long term thing.

Bard overhaste caps at 25% for the sword swingers among us despite the description though the focus element of it works to 30% as described. Support for this statement can be found at and its attendant links, at least for the actual haste component.

You'll get 30% additional haste from it if you don't already have normal haste capped at 100% by other means. Like if you just have your worn 45%, the 30% overhaste song should take you to 75%. Only when you start from the normal cap of 100% does the overhaste song encounter the second cap at 125%.
