Anywhere you can kill lots of light blue (to you) mobs.
I would practice having him tank and try to hold aggro over you and dogdog. While this may not be the most efficient way to go, it will get you really used to managing you Shaman aggro and maximizing the Paladin's aggro.
Plane of Innovation should be full of mobs for you to grind this way. The Paladin can even pull most of it, as most of the mobs are under 55 and can be pacified by the Paladin if you want singles. The Deep works well too. You can single pull anything on the close side of the bridge. Also, the DPS of the mobs there isn't more than your Pally can handle.
Have the Paladin pull, and drop a stun on incoming. Then sic dogdog and have the Shaman debuff/slow. Drop Leopard on dogdog and the Paladin, then dots if time/mana allow. Heal with both characters when needed. This will give the Paladin somehting to use his mana on.
The Paladin will have to work hard, chaining stuns and using taunt when needed, to keep aggro off the Shaman due to the DPS the much higher level toon will do. Having the Paladin pull will help as he should pull with Cease, then drop a second stun on the mob as it enters camp. This gives him a good head start over the Shaman. By the time you have slowed and leoparded the Paladin will have a good aggro lead, so you can do some DPS with the Shaman.
Good luck to you!
