Can anyone confirm that the third spire of ancestors applies to the group. The description says "your" which implies just to me. I don't have it, yet.

Does the second spire of ancestors apply to HoT spells? I just got rank 1 but haven't tested it, yet.

I did not test second spire with HoT spells, but it should work.

Don't tease us! What are the "right situations" ... do you mean when you are meleeing and feeling particularly froggy or times when it does, in fact, help the group overall.

What can it hurt to use it?

It's pretty likely that second spire will add more damage with a minimal commitment to dots. The hurt of using 3rd is blocking 2nd.

Personally I think better parsing is in order since I have been told by people that it does help.
