Hi all!
Been reading up and down and havent found anything usefull as a list showing exactly what AAs to take to maximize healing on shaman and then perhaps buffing.
Can anyone list here what AAs to take, how many lvls and that kind?
Im currently stopping on lvl 65 to make as many AAs as possible for this healing.
Best Regards
Theravardar AB server.

This thread is still very useful: .
Riou has touched on the main healing AA - adept, boon, gift. I always maxxed healing adept first. Ancestral Aid and Union of Spirits are pretty good, though I can't remember at what level they become available to you. For buffing, you're going to want Spell Casting Mastery 3, Spell Casting Reinforcement 3 and Spell Casting Reinforcement Mastery 3. Quick Buff is good.

Unless they've changed something drastic since I've been gone, those buff AA's and Quick Buff still affect your Heal Over Time spells. I used to consider them essential Healing AA's.

Quick Buff 3 does not improve the cast time on your heals or cures. You will still need a beneficial spell haste item to improve these.

Ok but if we are talking about Healing Counterbias Rk II those AAs won't effect it. other than Healing Boon...
which brings about a related topic about healing in todays game.
One: In most cases, I play with a merc cleric or player cleric in the group...what is the suggested spell make up of heals that will stack with other healers...I understand that healing counterbias stacks...but what else stacks and what should I have loaded? Knowing what will not work could open up a slot for another dot or debuff etc. and also help decide what AAs I pursue as I top off healing boon.
Two: Shouldn't we pursue having more of our AAs effect healing counterbias ... if this becomes one of our main heal lines?
Three: Does -- Extended Sloth, new line, 1 rank - 1 tick added to slows -- effect the heal portion of this spell? If it does will we be getting more ranks?

One: Usually I will grp HoT , Dannal's, and AI if I am in the patch healer role. Even though HC overrides listlessness type HoT's I still keep it on em as a buffer.
Two: Most shaman that are active vocally have been advocating this since before CB came about. Our HoTs are in dire need of a revamp given inc damage. Since the dev's have the take that HoT is our primary heal line and wont bolster our burst grp healing, the situation just gets more grim. I'm hoping the burst HoT makes it to live.
Three(ah ah) Extended Sloth has no effect on the HoT effect of this spell.

What is the best way to conserve mana while healing, besides the Canni's?

Focii goes along way as well. Efficiency, boost, and durations can be found on most of our BPs, arms and other various items. If I heal bigger I can heal less. If my hot last a few ticks longer, I have more time to weave in another ability.

Just a reminder for us non-raiders. That aug (+15% alteration) mentioned in the LDON raid in an earlier post is type 8 only
