Got Winds of Malis Rk. 2 in Underquarry. Was on a golem I think but didn't make a note of it when it dropped.

Has anyone seen Frost Gift drop? Rapsers lists it as being from Arcithrex but I can't seem to find a mob there that will drop it. It might just be the RNG, though, so I as hoping someone could confirm that they saw it drop in Arcithrex (on live, not beta) or list what zone if they saw it drop in a different zone.

"Immotility" is an English word, just a fairly rare one. Unfortunately, "motility" is typically used by doctors and biologists, e.g. "gastrointestinal motility", so it would not have been my first choice to describe an effect in a fantasy game. On the other hand, I can see how you can run out of terms for a limited set of actions after 16 expansions...

I'm not sure which mission gives Splash of Runedust, but it isn't any of the group progression missions on the way to tier 8 -- so not brells rest, cooling chambers, pellucid grotto, foundation, arthicrex, or underquary. Would be odd for it to drop in a t8 or t9 zone, though, so maybe its in one of the other missions that aren't progression related.

Had my copy of it drop in cooling chamber today from a dwarf, so confirmed for the zone, but this time no undead mob. Possible zonewide?

Question about healing counterbias. I dont have it yet. does the HoT proc on the tank or lands on shaman?

In regards to the stacking of slows for "overslowing" have you tried tacking on grezans/vindictive line? You can potentially stack 3 slows -- Turgurs, Listlessness, and Grezan's -- and I'd be curious to see what the parse would conclude with those 3 on. Might be difficult though seeing as how grezan has a recycle time and a low duration.

Anyone notice Frost Gift only works on raid mobs ? Was messing about in general UF zones the other night and wanted to test it on a normal mob and got the you cant use this on this mob blah blah blah message. The same kind of message when you try and use Feralisis on a non-animal type mob. Even running it on raid mobs I havent quite figured out whether the heal twincast effects any direct heal on the targets target or only the shaman that cast frost gift. Anyone have any insight ??

Frost Gift:

You use it with your Tank in Target right? The Nuke than should land on your tanks target. (Targets Target).
If you try it wit a mob in target, possibly you try to nuke your tank which than may produce "wrong type" message.
Never seen any "wrong type" message. As far as I can say, always had the twinheal procc.

Lucys rapressentation may lead to the conclusion that you should nuke a mob with it and you will get the procc.
Parsing actuall spelldat_us.txt the spell (RKII) is decribed as a 2582 damage Ice nuke on the Targets Target and the recourse of Twinheal on self.

This way the spell makes also more sense. If you need max heal, you are going to cast:

repeat


you can keep tank in target and fire away.
Recast is 12 seconds, so you can keep going the above sequence for max heal.

The Twinheal procc is a shortbuff in your Bardsong window and doubles all your own direct heals. It has a hitcounter of 2 Hits and lands therfor max 2 times if you heal twice during his 18 seconds time.

Wether or not the nuke lands I cannot confirm, as I don't care. I use this spell for the healing boost.

Ahh that makes sense then. I assumed it was a nuke you cast on the mob that has a twincast effect that hits the targets target and the next heal to hit that player hits twice. Its strange though that it when I was casting it on raid targets I wouldnt get the same message casting it on general UF mobs (or maybe I was working against the raid and I was nuking our own peeps whilst healing the raid mob...oops) unless its somehow getting lost in my battle spam window or that spell is flagged as not usable on NPC's/Mobs.

Will try hit the one on the top of agro list with it next and see how it goes. Will report back with my findings

[Update] Tested it out last night casting it on the tank and seemed to work well, saw the healing twincast message etc etc so looking good. Wont have much application in raids (due to clerics being main tank healers) but groupage should work well
