For me it looks like the "fixed" and now stacking Thirdspire is not very useful for us nor our meele friends.

Short therm parse I admit, but the Ranger did around 50 dps less with thirdspire on than without. If I understood devs statements well, groupspires are supposed to be around 150 dps plus to those who can make use of it. I have the feeling that no parse length can convert a -50 dps to a +150 dps.

Did anyone else ever try to parse Thirdspire since it does stack?

Third Spire is a proc mod, and your buddy did do more dps from the proc (pets). 10% more

Déjà vu! Didn't we discuss parses from that ranger and his pet weapon already? We already established that 10 min is a way too short time to establish any statistical data with procs.
As for the 3 effects of our Third Spire:

Slot 4: Increase Proc Modifier by 20% - you'd need much longer parses to establish this impact

Slot 7: Increase Accuracy by 35% - from observing many parses there seems to be a upper cap on how accurate you can get. rangers have very significant self buffs for this. 84% is already pretty high for accuracy

Slot 12: Increase All Skills Minimum Damage Modifier by 30% - these mods stack as

@Finori: those parses I made before the other thread, but somehow they got lost and I found them today searching something else.

Missed the procc mod part of Third spire and was searching for meele dps.
Thought this time, leaving the pet-proccs apart it would be notable if something in meele-dps did change, wasn't looking for the proccmode.

Third Spire of Ancestors
Slot 4: Increase Proc Modifier by 20%
Slot 7: Increase Accuracy by 35%
Slot 12: Increase All Skills Minimum Damage Modifier by 30%

So for the proc mod I have to reparse before I can do a statement. But whats about the slot 7 and Slot 12?

I was surprised by the decrease in meele dps. Shouldn't there be an increase in meele dps?

I made this parses without any ranger ability apart from standard selfbuffs.

But mentioning this brings up a new question: If from the longer parses it turns out that the Thirdspire generally works, but most of his Effects on the burnfights still do nothing because of stacking issues, when than would be the best time to pull out Thirdspire? When killing trashmobs, so atleast it does something? Wouldn't it be better than to leave this and save the timer for second spire to be able to heal a little better.

Phuu "10h for some minimal confidence level" ... those hardcore parser are all mad

I will try to do the parses this weekend.

Would the weaponset be good for the parses or would it be better to exchange the petproc weapon for an normal proccing one?

Most of the stacking issues are ranger specific. As long as you are not in a group with lots of rangers its probably still the best to click 3rd spire together with your epic for maximum burn.

link above provides: ROG, MNK, RNG, BRD, CLR with proccmod-abilities better than thirdspire. Whos left in your usual meelegroup? Zerker, someone else?

Plus Bards AA Fircy Eye hits whole group and does 15 times the proccmod:

Slot 4: Critical Heal (10)
Slot 5: Increase Critical Hit Chance by 10% and Increase Critical Hit Damage by 10% for Direct Damage Spells

Slot 11: Increase Critical Hits Damage modifier for All Skills by 0.10


Stacking issues for All Skills Minimum Damage Modifier
link above provides ROG, BER, MNK, BST, WAR, BRD, RNG with abilities better than thirdspire, serveral in some hundreds.


Would guess in a burn situation most of those abilities will be running.

But will do those parses and we will se what it looks like.

New second parse is at 6 ours now and 1215 dps overall.
Will not touch the stuff unless 10 ours done, but Gameparse has different pages and I think to remember that min/max hits are shown.

would say rought guestimate: 20 dps if using fabled petweapon and around 2-5 dps gain if any other weapon is used, as proccdamage of those pet is around 10 times of any other weapon procc right? About useless but atleast not detrimental as it seemed at first glance.

Will deliver the requested infos and we will see what Finori will get out of this.

Crush no difference, slash below 10% and not near 30% right? But i think even if it would be 30% it woudn't barley be notable.
