TBS Lassitude Rk II & NoA

Returning to game, sorely lacking lore about what TBS is all about...

How do you get the currency, which quests to do, where is Othena, etc. I only want Lass2 and Nectar of Agony, preferably challengingly solo + merc. Unless there is some great storyline/quest/item useful for awhile, I just want to do my business here and move on out. Any hints appreciated. Currently scouting zone-in from POK in, what, Katta Castrum?, tho it says "Barren"...

Toxxulia goes by normal zone tunnel to Barren Coast.
Barren Coast goes by four different boats to The Buried Sea. Each boat has a different destination island in the same Sea zone.
Druid port also goes to TBS.
There's a giant whirlpool in the middle of TBS that goes to Katta Castrum.
Wizard, and Guild Hall teleports go to Katta Castrum.
Katta Castrum has a teleporter pad back up to TBS, and three ancillary zones, artificial habitats for ancient races rescued from extinction - Sphinxes, Kedge, and Shissar.

Things to do:

Faction up to Warmly with Katta Castrum vendor, he sells the rk 2 spells, one at each faction level Indifferent and above. Nectar of Agony is the fourth. You can solo faction by doing a ton of Herb Retrieval and The Serpent Slayer tasks (they overlap significantly, plus you get faction for killing the actual mobs) or by doing group-oriented missions, which you may or may not be able to solo. If you don't do any missions, you'll have to buy Orux currency to purchase the spells.

The Jonas Dagmire's Skeletal Hand quest in The Buried Sea. Great aug, can solo the 25 tasks scattered around the Sea zone to get it.

Thanks, excellent info. That will get me started. Seems this expansion is heavy on factioning.

Also looks like sells the rank one spells for dubloons (however you get those) -- 250 for NoA and 150 for Lassitude. Looks like the 2 spells do the same amount of damage/HOT as their rank2s, only difference is 10 more poison resist for NoA2 and 10 percent more chance to proc the 500 HOT on Lassitude2. If Lassi's 3-tic HOT duration is extended like the rest of our castable HOTs, then it would wash out with either the 30 or 40% chance, wouldn't it? In other words, for in teh face soloing, Lassi's HOT will be continuously running either way... We'll see, thanks again.

The proc chance matters, higher Nectar does more damage, and there's only one faction that matters, Katta Castrum.
