I was wondering what would be the best for me to do dps during the following situations:

crystallos
lesson burns
s.h.i.p

I have concentrated every aa into the regular shaman ones, but the rest are all healing aa's, everything is maxed for heals. This is pretty much no longer needed as the cleric in our group has cought up in levels and has his aa's maxed now also. The tank is 25k 4k roughly.

So, currently i have been slowing, sick pet, cast couger, and nuke once per mob or so on lesson burns. one cougar is long enough to kill the 2 mobs pulled to camp in beza instance. Would I be better casting a fast working dot? What about resist? I never, ever casl malo. However, I just did get idol of malos so that would help i think (each mob would be sneered / bazu'd on pull).

In crystallos, on squires, i'll have to help patch heal, but I think i would be better casting dots on the regular mobs to quicken the kills...what should I stack? A cougar lasts roughly for an entire drake / wyvern, maybe 2 panthers for a squire.

in s.h.i.p...i'm thinking one or two dots on a mob would be good.

keep in mind I have no crit dot aa's or crit nuke aa's. What do you guys think I should be doing? right now i'm not utilizing the shaman as much more than a healer, slower, and cougar artisst.

The idol doesn't last long enough to be useful, IMO. I throw a DOT in harder content, and two DoTs on big mobs like Squires. In easier content (Beza instances for example) the mobs usually don't last long enough to make it worth it. Prior to getting the Malo AA I would load Malo for Crystallos but otherwise didn't bother.

another good place is mechanic guardian. mobs hit light, and up near the top everything is darkblue to level 85. in addition, all you have to do is sting because mobs dont live very long due to not much hp.
