Single Target Cougar?

They wont up and change a spell mid cycle like that especially one that spans multiple classes. Single cougar is about the only spell they would add before November since it was supposed to be in during SoF launch. You few can stick with panther if you wish but everyone else would like the upgrade we should have.

Sorry Macnair I don't buy that.

I want single target cougar to do more damage than single target panther, not just to maintain aggro. The amount of aggro generated also depends on the damage being done from the proc. My dot's do more damage and generate more hate - so to counter that the proc should do more hate.

Let me put it another way:
Why don't you use the older dots when fighting Rhag, they take less mana than the newer ones. That means you will be able to keep them up longer....

To me it's simple: An upgraded single target panther would be a useful addition to my spellbook and would be a spell I would cast, not in all circumstances, but in enough that I would appreciate having it.. Classes get the "apropriate" amount of spells, rather than a fixed number, this wouldn't be taking away from other spells.

Furthermore it keeps and reinforces the principal of having both individual and group spells. Which is a good thing for so many obvious reasons that I surely don't have to enumerate them.

Another point to remember is that Single target PANTHER isn't even -really- that available to people. It's locked behind two tiers of DoN quest content, and, frankly, the average casual player is -still- not putting together groups to kill Emoush. Making the spell vendor available or at least, dropped from current content would be a nice change.

I could be in the minority, but I'd be a LOT more interested in single target cougar for a longer duration than the group buff, versus higher damage per proc.
