The thing about stoicism is this: nobody should be running when tanking, so use it on whoever is tanking, when they are tanking.

Superior healing is 51, Chloroblast 55.
It's really badly balanced, imo, there's a huge gap from 29 to 51 with no new heal (well, there's Stoicism now), then a few levels later, there's a new heal that's a huge improvement. Superior healing should be around level 40 or so to balance it better.
Not that it matters much any more, all the levelling shamans are twinks anyway. Plus, we get Stoicism too, which helps. But at the time, it made no sense to me.

The game is full of stupid crap like that because of the way it was organically grown. Clerics get Temperance at 40, then no "combo buffs" until 60, where they get Aegolism...but then they get Virtue at 62. Enchanters have stupid mez cap issues where at a few levels they can't even mez white con mobs. Etc etc. I keep toying with the idea of trying to sit down and create a revised spell list with all the inconsistancies combed out, but then I realize it'd be a complete waste of my time. =/

Well yes, there's a fair few things like Temperance where a lower level spell was added because a high level spell was so popular, like Stoicism based on Torpor. Aegolism was the level 60 cleric Velious spell, Velious didn't include a level increase, but had a few extra spells, and the combo spells Aegolism and Focus of Soul were among them.
They have "backdated" a lot of spell ranges this way, leading to a hit and miss spell book.
