Please include what your poison focus is, and if a bard was present.

My highest crit: 8110
Focus: Girdle of the Magma Priest (30%)
no bard

(According to Unmei, no shaman should be able to break 9k with Sting. Unless you have a bard, which means you can break 9k, but never reach 10k. I thought shaman were breaking 9k, 10k, and even reaching 11k+ crits.)

8951 was the highest crit i found on my rogues latest logs(total 4 million something dmg from sting haha)
That number probably with bard though cuz highest crit i've seen without that or guide of tox is 8050(got rikk range and sting rk2)

You can see my bard song window, I have all 23 buff slots showing, so no hidden guide to toxicity.
I Have alot of just over 10k screenshots, but haven't broken 11k yet even with bard.

You all need to start hacking so you can see druid epic click on the mob.

It should be noted that Sting is a poison based spell and the focus he linked is for magic....that could be one of the reasons Galelor isn't getting the same effects. But yeah most likely that was when a druid epic was on the mob because I have the same focus that Seamuus has on his magelo and I don't hit that without a bard and I manage to get it in right after the druids announce their epic clicks.

It could be with druid epic on. I don't pay alot of attention to them. I pretty much only raid so it's hard to isolate myself from druids.

Has anyone broken 11k? 12k?

See my sig for my highest. Had either the Poison Last Blood (35% on Sting) or the Deathknell shoulders (58.5%) at the time, don't remember if I had the DK shoulders yet when I got that hit. Max nuke-crit AAs, bard in group, no Toxicity. Might have had the druid epic running on Mayong at the time, don't know for sure.

This hit was to Lethar on his 2.0 version, Was in dps grp (4 rogue + Bard), and have Fridleif ring as 65% increased poison dmg

I've had a few sting crits of over 12k, which must have been with druid epic on or bard song, I'm not sure which. Can anyone confirm how much of a modifier the bard song and druid epic add? I'd like to work out what the theoretical maximum is.

With 65% focus (Vergalid's miasma), rank 3 of sting (3120) and all nuke crit damage AAs (2.25 multiplier), the maximum is 11583.

Ack the mage board is blocked? is a link to an html version.

Yes crits only multiply base damage, with the exception that on-mob damage foci debuffs count as base damage.

Just got 12889 on Veldyn's shade. I missed it at the time though, so no screenshot, it just showed up in someone's parse. That is with 30% focus from bard aura and probably druid epic also.
