turgurs or balance is 99.9% of all you'll ever use. Balance is fast cast and usually doesnt need malis before hand, tugurs lasts far longer but may bounce (depends on content). when grouping i usually use balance even though i have a TA, i bandolier to it to save mana or on adds that are rooted/mezed. Like ungkor sai, if i have good line of sight during the pull, ill usually malis and turgur and mem a dot where balance was.

If you dont have a TA, most shaman mem both balance spells in case of resists or adds

Thanks for the replies. I havent played with malo and turg combo, but will. I didnt see any slow upgrades in TSS so wanted to make sure I wasnt missing anything. I often kid around with my group and tell them that I dont reslow and use the 90 second slow as incentive for them to kill faster Like that old skate boarding game, Skate or Die! its kill quickly or be killed!

Malis on incoming. The I click TA to slow the mob. I never mem balance or turgurs any more, including on raids.

Sometimes on raids I'll mem the PBAoE slow. I generally mem sloth for tanks

I don't have a TA, and when I do group, it's usually fast pulls with adds often enough to keep on my toes, so I keep both Balance spells memmed. With the rapid cast time, I can cycle through multiple mobs and have them slowed in just a few short seconds. Since I got both balance lines, I haven't memmed Turgurs. However, I also don't get the opportunity to raid, so that might be why.

Malo + turgurs most of the time.

I'm mid 70's not uber, and do a lot of partial group, or low DPS group stuff. If I'm in a group that is killing things really fast, then I will pull up Balance. I still like to use Malo first if possible so everyone else's stuff lands better.

I have a TA but often have both BoD/BoN memmed. My usual group has a warrior pulling so I can expect trains often. TA is fast but bounces too often, so I alternate BoD/BoN to get slow to stick fast.

You'd use Malis a lot more if you had the Time's Antithesis. It's worthwhile as a dps enhancing debuff if you group with any variety of caster, all the way down to rangers, beastlords and active clerics.
