I would be in favor of a self corpse only loot all button. Hell, if you want to punish us for using it, just make the delays just like (or slightly longer) than regular looting would take. I just get tired of clicking ever item every time I die (which is a whole bunch, I'm kinda like that for some reason, try to solo stuff I shouldn't, heh).

I would like this as well. I understand the punishment issue and I even agree with it. But the system could loot on a timer roughly equal to what it takes to do it yourself. Or, it could loot immediately but cause a stunned effect for 10 seconds or something like that.

You wouldn't have to use the button if you wanted to still loot yourself or were in a situation mid raid and wanted to loot as fast as possible or grab a few items and run. But when you summon in the guild hall...you could use it!

IIRC the main argument against it is that after your death you may not be able to loot all of your equipment. But that could be easily handled by just stopping the auto-loot procedure when such an item is encountered.

As already stated, Multi-slot items no longer go to the first available slot. They haven't for a long time. Yes...they used to. Yes...it's been changed. It goes to the slot that you had it in when you died. This was fixed what...2 or 3 years ago? Luclin time farme? A while...anyway.

As for Lore items. What happens now in that same situation? You have a Mod Rod in your hand and your backpack has a mod rod in it too? What happens? Whatever happens now would happen with the auot loot. No different. Plus, your corpse wouldn't disappear. It would stay there. Corpses only disappear if everything is looted off of them. And, like mentioned, if you wait too long, your corpse goes to the corpse burial ground and you can go there and get it. No different to what happens today. Plus you would get the lore item message on your text screen. Just like you do today.

And Yes, I'm aware that years ago the Devs wanted the penalty of the self loot, click 20 items, it takes time, concept. But the last time I read or heard anything from a Dev on this topic was YEARS ago. Things change. Look at the game. Things certainly have changed alot, even in the relatively short time since Planes of Power. I have not seen or heard anything recent (last year) about it. But then, I don't read every Dev release or conversation either. But I am ALWAYS skeptical of those people who say they heard a Dev say blah blah blah. Alot of people say it. They usually can't reproduce it. The Devs said staring at your spell book while you med was part of the game too...

Bards were broken enough during the post-Luclin patches to last at least 10 expansions.

And the last time I remember SKs being seriously broken (admittedly, this says more about how much attention I pay to SKs than how often they're broken) was when they were getting full mana bars back every time they procced Mental Corruption.
