Contrary to Scowls unfounded assertions, Silent Casting works on anything. Compare the spell data for to the effect on your epic 2.0, you'll clearly see the epic has a bunch of restrictions on it while Silent Casting does not.
It is, however, a random #, so if you get unlucky, you can get basically zero benefit from it.

Silent casting always gives you at least a 1% reduction doesn't it? And I dunno why you wanted to turgur's on incomming, (except to experiment), but 16 disease counters worth of aggro vs 800+200/tic is interesting.. I can't remember off of the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure if I pull with turgurs, run to camp, 1 bellow takes mob off of me...
A high end Cleric or Druid won't get 1 rounded by a 10k damage, one day shaman can say the same =/
