The Spirit Realm

This may be a stupid question, but I haven't really seen an answer for it. The AA description for Destructive Fury states that it increases the damage done by crits.
Does this apply soley to direct damage crits or does it also increase the damage done by a crit dot tick for those with critical affliction?

The Shaman AAs Demystified! section does refer to direct damage increases but I want to be sure of the effect before investing aas in it.

It makes your crit nukes bigger.

It has no effect on regular nukes. It has no effect on dots whatsoever.
