Healing Focus

A while back Rytan *claimed* that there was not supposed to be a cap on Shaman healing (i.e. if you have a high end focus it shouldn't hit a cap). I'm wondering if anyone has seen any evidence that this was corrected?

ive slammed ut 9400-9500 heal crits before, 4400 non crits arent too uncomon...what ever that figures out to (vish shoulders healing focus)

Sarcasm or no? I'll play the straight man, since the risk of it being otherwise is too much for me.
Lucy's still a bit mixed up about which effect is which, but the reality is that they're in line with their names now. Wurine Guard is beneficial spell duration extension (Dometrius, Rod of the Ruined), Zombie Malaise is detrimental (Vamp hunter boots, Echo Trinket).
