Hungry Plague & TA

During a recent trip to Seb while working on my Cultural tasks. I was making Plague trains to get lily's while killing the krups. I noticed that when I tagged a plagued mob with my TA shortly after I was getting hundreads of spam lines of "your spell did not take hold", as if TA spread to all the mobs . I cannot duplicate this effect with any other spells like Spasm or Malos, I even tried using my EP bertoxx clicky pants to no avail ( how fun would that be )

I am wondering if anyone else has seen or had this happen to them. Maybe SoE somehow overlooked or missed this when they "fixed" the viral spells.

Hungry Plague seems to start freaking out when it cannot take hold on a mob. 2 examples I have noted recently.

1 - when using it to slow in an AE situation that had an unslowable mob, I hads screens full of the immune to attack speed changes spam, and unshakeable agro on the unslowable mob.

2 - when using it to slow in a situation with 1 boss, slowed with turgurs and several adds, unslowed. I got a ton of your spell will not take hold spam, and unshakeable agro on the boss I had slowed with turgurs.


Here's an example of the first one. Dnalor is my friendly neighborhood Paladin. He has the druid spell, reptile on, and also lingering sloth. We were messing around in Siren's Grotto the other night, getting random tribute crap. I give him 30 seconds worth of crazy defensive proc agro before I cast Hungry Plague. Every 5 seconds, I am getting 4 lines attempts to slow the Mistress. 30 seconds after casting Hungry Plague, I have agro on the mistress, despite 1 minute of stuns, damage and healing agro for the Paladin. I *never* steal agro from him in any other circumstances. I keep the agro until the mob dies, despite more stunning, taunting, dps and group healing.


Take note that none of the other mobs besides her ever hit me, just the immune to slow one....Mistress of Darkwater. She's a caster so there are stretches where she is not hitting me, but she is agro on me. All stuns you see being cast are being cast on her, there are 4 other mobs besides her in camp.

Sorry for the long log, I trimmed out a ton. My point - 21 stuns, I dunno how many taunts, many reptile and sloth procs, and several group heals and damage are not enough to overcome the agro generated by HP trying repeatedly to land on a slow immune mob. That's great.

The same kind of spam happened to me when I used HP to slow a group of adds with a boss I had slowed with turgurs. Spam spam spam, your spell won't take hold. Henora has tons of agro, and retains it through many taunts, bellows, cyclone blades, ae taunt, etc.
