Reading this argument go back and forth is not unlike watching four special needs children running around in a circle to see who can get the dizziest without falling over, and declaring their argument the one true truth.

We slow time ... why shouldn't Druids, the squeakiest wheel in all of EQ (see exhibit A here, who proves this point without leaving a question to be asked) get EVERYTHING because of a spell that was horribly unbalancing back in Kunark and has, in recent times, become nothing more than a joke that most people cling to because they are incapable of questioning what they perceive s an inherent truth? This class has been kicked in the nuts because of its past, a past that NO LONGER IS APPLICABLE SINCE EVERYTHING MITIGATES SLOWS, why shouldn't people demand more be taken from us, right? I mean, if they're too stupid to see how the changes have affected us, and have this preconceived notion of our Kunark Godliness in their heads, of course they are entitled to more because they're unhappy and embittered because the grass is ALWAYS greneer on the other side.

Guess what? Our grass ain't green. Rytan's dog's pissed us yellow for years.

Now, this may be oputright innaccurate and specious argument and all BUT:
All cutting edge groups in today's content have a slower.
Shaman are penalized for being able to slow by reducing the amount of HP our heals heal for.
Druid are being given tools as if they never group with a slower.

Now, this is a couple of somewhat INNACURATE sweeping generlization statements.
But I think it contains a kernel of truth, and I think that kernel of truth is what people(I.E. shamans) are upset about. We have a pretty tedious line up of having to canni to keep up with our higher mana cost; having to debuff and slow, and deal with resisted slows so we can heal our tank. Cause keeping a tank up against an unslowed mob is extremely mana intensive chore.

The pluralization of shaman is "shaman". Like moose. Not "shaman"; not "shamans"; not "shami".

As someone that plays a 70 shaman and 70 druid, I think it extremely silly that druids would get any kind of a group HoT at all. Their only previous HoT is a craptastic waste of a buff slot.

A direct group heal for druids, definately though. Maybe in the 1500-2k range.

Zaviax says it all right there. it would bring it into line with natural progression and gme evolution, instead of a drastic change that will most deffinatly alter alot of how the game works

Let me say this, I rarely ever use HoTs.

I heal just fine, I canni just fine.

The fact is, I have the mana and the mana regen to do it.

I could heal mpg fine for hours straight and never worry about mana. The thing is, its still inefficent to do so, but HoTs on todays tanks dont do much, they wont save a group and the times I need to conserve mana, when shit hits the fan, I need to use burst heals anyway. The only time I EVER use HoTs is when im farming lower level mobs or am messing around. Otherwise, its useless, it dosnt heal enough to bother with the cast time on it.

Wissiliks is win.

Now as to druid heals, I dont care, I heal well enough. I dont want to heal all the time when I play, I want to do other stuff.

Grats druids on keeping a gap between our healing abilities if not making the gap further. I am sure eventually shaman will be on top again as a power class, and druids will not have the heals they have today.
