Your warriors are being beaten by bards dude. In fact they are being beaten by just about everybody.

Most of them are doing less dps than me, even though they likely have much better gear.

Have you considered that maybe there is a reason why?

It is not unusual for me to place in the top 10 dps in my current guild, and in my previous guild. But, I forgot, according to you everyone sucks. How silly of me to forget that.

If you look here you will see some relative numbers for various melee unbuffed. Granted its with OoW/DoN weapons done some time ago, and there are better available now, but it does give a rough idea of the differences involved. Now, your warriors may not have been in dps groups (probably the case), may be using agro weapons rather than dps weapons (probably the case), may be more competent than you by managing their agro and knowing their role (probably the case), and in at least one case clearly not using any damage discs.

Its hardly equivalent.

Well, one of the things about warriors is that dps is not their primary role. Most of the time people don't care where they are on the dps list either. So, maybe they're slacking or maybe they're conserving endurance in case they're called on to tank. Maybe they're trying not to steal agro too. They will probably be in a tanking group rather than a dps group, so probably won't have champion, panther, bard overhaste. Maybe they have are using tanking weapons or maybe they have non tanking weapons. A warrior might not have a specific dps set up because it may only be a small improvement on their tanking set up and it can get expensive in DKP (or merit). Though I know rangers who have a tanking setup.

But, I still maintain that even if a warrior is geared up and set up for dps, they still shouldn't be doing as much as a ranger with similar gear, if both aren't slacking.

It's exceedingly ironic that you mention how dps classes on your raids have to watch their agro carefully and keep their dps down in the same sentence as the phrase "knowing their role". Nice epic, top10 damage parsing warrior~.

Hrm. Tonight's Harfange was just over 7 minutes. I pulled the durations on those others from someone else's log report, tonight's number makes me suspect them. I'll check this out.

Times on most of the fights I reported above are wrong. Apparently various iterations of Sebin's parser in beta phases weren't truncating fights... like, at all. It'll be an hour's work or something to go find the real durations from my own logs.

Tonight's (accurate) time was 8min16s, the three monks present dealt 683,979, 561,543, and 539,877. The top monk had a full dps group (Brohg,brd,ber) I know, the others were probably missing at least one of those parts each, since there were only two berserkers and two bards in attendance. The overall ranking went rog - rog - rog - rog - rog - mnk - rog - ber - rng - nec - rng - mnk - mnk - pal - rog(inactive) - ber(app) - pal - wiz - wiz - wiz - first warrior (not tanking).
