Drops in 70.2 in the chest.. I used it pre71+, shrug. it's decent IMO.. + rikki eye - that's over 40% still, iirc? or close to 40% on magic AND poison..

Edit: Veil of the Windstrider drops off randoms in WoS, not in MPG off a named, as you stated on that page, Sam.

For me, I try to adjust my dot lineup to give me the most efficiency.

For example when I'm root n` rotting goblins in Icefall while leveling up my drakkin bard project I use 3 poison dots and 1 disease dot. For focus's I have LB Poison aug and Disease shoulders from Shar`Vahn(sp?). I can pull 1 goblin with PD root with VP and stick all 4 dots on. I have to refresh the 3 poison dots one time each and the mob always dies with less than 2 ticks remaining on any of the 4 dots and before VP has worn off. I could add 3 magic dots on the mob but it wouldn't die without have to reapply atleast one or two more dots. That's partially because my magic focus sucks but it is also because the base damage on the 3 best magic dots is less than the base damage on the 3 best poison dots. In either case I'm ready for another mob to kill but I've still got 30-50 seconds left on my VP3 recast... I'd rather go with my 4 dot rotation and just add another mob to my pull and use PE instead of VP to keep it rooted.

The faster I kill mobs the more XP I gain. With OOC mana regen, I regen mana so quick that blowing more mana to kill quicker seems sensible to me.
I'd need to sit down and kill 10+ mobs to try the other way. But it just seems so much easier to assume that disease doens't exist, that way I don't worrk about focus effects or memming more spells. 6 dot's should be enough for anyone

But laying on disease + poison + magic DoTs is more dps than just those poison + magic DoTs. You only lose dps if a disease DoT replaces a magic or poison one. You're all assuming you'd do disease instead of something else, rather than as well as.

I run 7 DoTs (plus Canni and Gate!) in my 'all or nothing' line-up, once the mob is debuffed and parked. 2 disease DoTs work quite nicely as part of this package, plus there's always the bonus chance of one of them triggering a GoRM. Of course, this is only when I'm pretty sure I'll get no adds and the mob will stay controllable ...
