EDIT: My post below is completely wrong; its not 500, its 75. I must have had some other healing affect on me. Nothing to see here, move along. At 75 I would say its "handy", but not exectly uber-riffic.

I avoided purchsaing this AA line for a very long time; the primary reason for that was the original call of the ancients AA line was very weak. Insultingly weak, in fact.

A few weeks ago I ran out of other meaningful AA to purchase, so I thought I would give it a try. Well, I'm quite annoyed now that I didn't do it earlier.

At its highest level, it gives around 500hp/tick for a full five minutes, AE-style. That is much preferable to blowing our MGB on ancestral aid only to have it overwritten by everyone else anyway. It is insta-cast, as well, so you can use it as a survivability tool as well if you get into trouble. The re-use time is very reasonable (15 min or 30 min, I can't recall which). I find that I use it quite a bit on raids and small encounters.

Anyway, this might be old news to everyone and his mother. If its new to anyone though, I'll be happy.

i used to use this ward when soloing, using roots and dots in fire for instance. when i used canni alot and didnt want to renew regen, it helped alot, and as long as mobs weren't still smacking me (maybe they got a hit or 3 in before vp pushed them back), it healed me well enough without wasting mana casting. Ive poped my ward on raids when there ws no ae's or in groups, usually when i had to cast anc aid, epic ghost..everything i owned that healed, when things went bad. its not alot, but its something. i wish it was 500, that would own, especially since AEs will kill it.

possibly my favorite thing about healing wards is i can give it weapons...they dont do anything with them, but floating weapons entertain me
